Brides get fit to squeeze back in to their wedding dresses for The Moth Ball

By on January 30, 2013

The New Year often brings with it a raft of resolutions to get fit and lose weight. But what most of us need is a goal, something to aim for to make all the effort feel worthwhile. And what better goal could there be than to get back in your wedding dress?lineup

Personal trainer Iain Worswick is working with a team of brides from Knutsford to help them do exactly that. Iain has developed a special work-out for the girls to help them get fit and get back in to their wedding dresses for The Moth Ball. The specially designed work-out is called StillFit? and involves a wide range of exercises designed to burn fat and tone muscle. The girls are already seeing some good results and have 8 months still to go before the ball.  Iain, along with Moth Ball organiser Rachel Bishop, is inviting brides everywhere to join the challenge and get back in their favourite outfits for The Moth Ball. “Get fit for The Moth Ball and look as good as you did on your wedding day, or maybe even better!”.

The Moth Ball is a wedding-themed charity ball where brides, grooms, bridesmaids and friends are invited to dust down their favourite outfits for a night of great food, dancing and entertainment in a beautiful venue. A live band will keep guests entertained and the live auction offers some incredible prizes – as well as raising money for the 2 nominated charities: Breast Cancer Campaign and Queenscourt Hospice.

The event has become such a success that it is now annual, with the next one taking place on Saturday 28 September 2013 at Mere Court Hotel in Knutsford. This will be the 3rd Moth Ball and will be packed once again with blushing brides, bridesmaids and, of course, their handsome grooms.

“I think that every bride will have some empathy with the thought that her wedding dress is just too beautiful to only ever be worn the once. This is the perfect opportunity to squeeze into it again and party the night away! And don’t worry if you’ve never been a bride; bridesmaids and guests in their wonderful wedding outfits are actively encouraged. It will be the wedding reception of the year, so don’t miss out!”

Rachel is full of praise for those supporting her quest, especially Iain who has created the whole StillFit? program free of charge.

The Moth Ball is on Saturday 28 September at 19:00 at Mere Court Hotel, Knutsford. Tickets cost £45 and include a three-course dinner and live entertainment. Tickets and more information from www.themothball.co.uk
