The APEX EXPO is the world’s leading event committed to improving the airline passenger experience. This year, IFE professionals from over 70 airlines and 120 vendors will be present from 13th to 15th September to discuss and learn about the latest technologies, products and services in the industry.
IFE Services can be found on Booth 1519 opposite Thales. The leading content service provider (CSP) will be showcasing its IFE solutions for in-flight overhead, personal TV (PTV) and audio visual on-demand (AVOD) systems. The company’s services include the licensing of movies, TV programmes and music as well as the production of safety films, promotional videos, GUIs and pre-recorded announcements (PRAMs). The IFE specialist will also be demonstrating the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP). It has a global distribution agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) to supply the devices to airlines wanting a light, robust and flexible portable IFE system.
The company is also throwing its annual APEX EXPO party which this year will be held on Tuesday, 13th September. The evening will have an 80s theme with popular local group, 80s Invasion, providing the entertainment.
“The APEX EXPO is the main event in the IFE calendar and therefore a very important exhibition for us,” said IFE Services’ Managing Director, Andy McEwan. “We’re very much looking forward to another successful show and to seeing all our friends in the industry again.”
