Brampton Recruitment helps Sir Bobby to Find A Better Way

By on November 14, 2012

The chance to help an England sporting legend recruit a vital staff member for his new charity proved a fitting way for Brampton Recruitment’s Knutsford office to celebrate its first birthday.

An established name on the North Staffordshire scene, Brampton Recruitment established a second office in Knutsford in autumn 2011.

And the move to Booths Hall led to a chance encounter with Sir Bobby Charlton and a chance to work for the World Cup winner’s landmine charity Find A Better Way.

Kerri-Ann Hargreaves, Knutsford Branch Manager for Brampton, said:  “When we moved to Booths Hall, we didn’t anticipate seeing a true sporting legend in our office corridor.

“But Find A Better Way has moved in just along the corridor from Brampton and it is obvious that Sir Bobby plays an active part in the charity he founded.

“Having met with the Find A Better Way management team, Brampton has now recruited an Office Manager, who will play an important part in the growth of the charity.

“It is a great privilege to work with Find A Better Way and to play a very small part in their quest to rid the world of the evil of landmines.”

Find A Better Way was founded by Sir Bobby after he witnessed the death and destruction caused by landmines on a visit to Cambodia.

The charity is working with research scientists to develop technology to accelerate the detection and safe removal of the estimated 110 million landmines in place around the world.
