Sneaky little robber.
On Wednesday 26th August a 16 year old local male was arrested and subsequently charged in connection with a burglary dwelling above Piccolinos on King street.
Other recorded offenses include handling stolen property and possession of an offensive weapon. Updates will follow so please check back for progress of this case.

Overnight on the 30-31st August, The public Telephone at the one-stop-shop was broken into. Choosy thieves or a hot potato?

Reports of a breakin at the sports club on Mere Heath lane resulted in vending machine and the coin-op squash court lighting system to be forcibly opened and emptied.
