Police report: Cheshire Building Society raid and £150,000 Cannabis seizure

Daring late night raid.
At approximately 01:45 on the 5th September, the King Street branch of the Cheshire building society was forcibly entered and a quantity of money was stolen from the premises. The perpetrators entered the building through the front door and after relieving the branch of its funds, they sped off in a red Audi A4 that was also used in connection with a similar incident eight miles away in Lymm.

Mobberley car thefts.
Between the hours of 19:30 and 23:00 a property on Church Lane in Mobberley was entered. The keys to two vehicles were taken leading to the theft of a Black Mini and a red Landrover Defender. police are appealing for any witnesses. Joint opperational success.
Police have asked people to be vigilant following the discovery of another big cannabis factory in East Cheshire. Police officers who raided a large house in Nether Alderley on Friday (Sept 4th) discovered more than a thousand plants in various stages of growth.
