Stolen and recovered in 24 hours

Overnight on Sunday 4th October into Monday 5th October 2009, a Volvo excavator was stolen from a remote location on Davenport Lane, Mobberley.

Following the tracker being activated on the excavator, two males from Greater Manchester were arrested in possession of the stolen excavator in the Rossendale area of Lancashire the following day and the excavator worth £20,000 was recovered.
