Bollington Arrests

On 20th October 2011, a 44 year old male from the Manchester area was arrested in relation to a farm outbuilding that had been broken into several weeks before on Park Lane, Little Bollington.

At the time of the outhouse being broken into, a significant amount of Power tools were removed and stolen.

Officers from Knutsford Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted searches of a dwelling and a vehicle, however no power tools were recovered. The male was interviewed at length in relation to the matter and he was subsequently released without charge.

On 2nd November 2011, colleagues in Altrincham alerted the Knutsford Ruralwatch scheme that a 24 year old male and a 21 year old male both from the Warrington area had been arrested.

The two males had been found to be in possession of a Satellite Navigation device stolen from a vehicle in Little Bollington. One of the males admitted the Theft and he will appear in Court in due course. The second male was also charged with Handling stolen goods and he will also appear in Court in relation to this matter.
