Knutsford Town Council member steps down
Councillor Charlotte Greenstein has stepped down from Knutsford Town Council, nearly 4 years after being elected.
A change in personal circumstances led to Charlotte taking the decision to resign, saying:
“We have done some really good work at the council, with road safety and the protection of Windmill Wood, which I will continue to fight for as a resident.
“I would like to thank everyone for being so supportive. There are some really dedicated and brilliant people in my ward, and it’s been a real pleasure to get to know my neighbours better.”
There is now the opportunity for electors in Norbury Booths to request a by-election. If no election is requested the Town Council will advertise for a new councillor.
