Volunteers wanted for Knutsford spring clean this weekend

By on March 2, 2018

Knutsford residents are being invited to take part in a community outdoor work party as part of the Great British Spring Clean.

The event – organised by Keep Britain Tidy – aims to bring together the community to help clear up litter that blights shared areas.

Friends of The Moor, Friends of The Heath and Knutsford Residents in Overward are organising cleaning parties in their areas:

  • Friends of The Moor – 11am, Saturday 3rd March 2018, The Moor
  • Friends of The Heath – 11am, Sunday 4th March 2018, The Heath
  • Knutsford Residents in Over Ward – 3pm, Sunday 4th March 2018, North Downs/Longridge

Kevin Griffiths of Friends of The Heath said: “We encourage local residents to join at least one of these litter-picks. The more people the better as many hands make light work.”

Details of the Great British Spring Clean are on the Keep Britain Tidy website – keepbritaintidy.org/get-involved/support-our-campaigns/great-british-spring-clean/
