The Mere Golf Resort & Spa wins Silver Flag Award at the 59club Service Excellence Awards Ceremony
The Mere Golf Resort & Spa scooped the Silver Flag Award at this year’s 59club Service Excellence Awards. The event, now in its eighth year, honours the best golf clubs and resorts from around the country, recognising those that have constantly strived to achieve service excellence through commitment to guest satisfaction.
In order to obtain this award, a visit was carried out by 59club mystery shoppers and testers to the finest golf member clubs and commercial venues which awards venue on a points system. The Mere scored higher than other venues allowing us to collect the Silver Flag award. As part of the benchmarking criteria, numerous factors are taken into consideration, including the customer focused service, the operations team, the sales team, food and drink management, assistance in the golf shop and the quality of the Championship Golf Course. Each venue is marked independently to ensure a fair and unbiased representation.
