Knutsford Mayor’s Charity Ball raises over £7k

This year’s Mayor’s Charity Ball has raised £7,421 thanks to generous guests and local sponsors.

The ball was held at the Courthouse Hotel in Knutsford on 24th March.

Funds raised will go towards the Mayor’s Charities which include Knutsford Youth Orchestra which gives all children in and around Knutsford the opportunity to play music together and be coached by professional musicians, Mid Cheshire Riding for the Disabled which provides horse riding opportunities for the disabled and Knutsford Friendship Cafe, a meet up for people with dementia and their carers.

Activities at the event included a Silent Auction, Charity Raffle and “Up, up and away” helium balloons.

Knutsford Town Mayor Cllr Andrew Molly said on Twitter “ Charity Ball News. THX to the amazingly generous business community matched only by those attending we raised ….£7,421 !!!!”
