Must see demo event for flower lovers
Fans of floristry are being invited to a demonstration from Chelsea Gold Award winner Mark Entwistle at Plumley Village Hall.
The event is being organised by Knutsford Floral Design Club, who are looking to grow their group.
“For any club to survive it is vital for it to have a continuing flow of fresh, new members,” said club chairman Liz Turner.
“With this very much in mind, we have obtained the services of Mark Entwistle, a distinguished Chelsea Gold Award winner and popular local florist until recently at the Black Rose florist.
“He has progressed into becoming a wonderful NAFAS demonstrator – his style is unique and is drawing much attention and admiration.
.“Knutsford Floral Design Club is having a deal of success with its workshop programmes aimed at enthusiastic and less experienced members and visitors in a relaxed, informal atmosphere where everything is provided – all you need is a pair of scissors.”
Celebrating it’s 50th anniversary soon, the club already has around 90 members who meet regularly.
The event is taking place on Thursday, 19th April from 7:30pm. Tickets for the open evening are £18, which includes a glass of wine.
