By on June 7, 2018

2018’s Heritage Open Days are holding a festival of heritage and culture will be held over two weekends for the first time.

There will also be a special programme of ‘Extraordinary Women’ talks, walks and exhibitions in celebration of the centenary of the Universal Suffrage Act.

Events will run September 6th to 9th and 13 to 16th, with Knutsford Heritage Centre holding a talk and poetry reading by local author Margaret Holbrrok about women that have been her female role models. There will also be a guided tour which tells the personal stories of remarkable women at their homes and explore their contribution to the social development of the town.
