By on June 11, 2018

Knutsford Tennis Club will again be hosting a 24 hour Tennisathon this month on 29th and 30th June at Knutsford Sports Club.

The event is taking place to raise £10,000 to help develop and resurface the Junior Courts at the club so that more people can get involved in playing tennis.

Sponsored courts at the club will be on an hourly rota for 24 hours as part of the Tennisathan with refreshments including Artisan Gin Tasting (ticket only event), BBQ, afternoon tea tuck shop and entertainment including a DJ, competition, virtual balloon race and the chance to win a test drive in a TESLA. Breakfast will be served and fitness boot camps will be taking place.

There will also be the opportunity to play with World Class players as part of the David Cup Masterclass.

Sponsors of the event include Bizaar Hair Studio, Irlams of Knutsford, P.R. Jones Watchmaker & Jeweller, Sheldon’s, Derek Gough Associations, Toni & Guy, fit4life Knutsford and Bright Ideas for Tennis. Local businesses have donated raffle prizes including Cottons Hotel and Spa and Bruntwood.

The Tennisathon is open to members and non-members, for more information visit www.knutsfordtennisathon.org.uk
