A Cheshire charity catering for children and young people with complex communication difficulties has netted £4,035 thanks to the generous guests at the 2018 Boodles Tennis at the Mere event.

Legends from the world of tennis including Henri Laconte Henri Leconte, Richard Krajicek and Barbara Schett entertained guests of internationally renowned jewellers, Boodles, in the delightful setting of The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Knutsford for Seashell Trust.

Stret, from organisers 100 Events said: “We are delighted to support this wonderful local charity.  Having visited myself and seen the amazing achievements of the students supported by incredibly dedicated support staff, I am thrilled that we can help in this small way.”

“Sport is a great motivator for students at Seashell Trust,” explains Dominic Tinner, Head of Development.  “It is only through the support of people and organisations such as 100 Events that we can provide them with specialist equipment and activities that enhance their young lives.”
