VIP fundraising event taking place for Caudwell Children

By on September 4, 2018

Caudwell Children provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families.

The charity will benefit from funds raised Cheshire housewife Dawn War’s annual Crème de la Crème Ball.

The event will be taking place on 22 September at Warford Hall, where Dawn and her husband live.

Trudi Beswick, chief executive of Caudwell Children said:. “It’s Cheshire’s most prestigious charity event of the year but Dawn’s support doesn’t stop there. She’s attended The Butterfly Ball, our flagship fundraiser, in London, and has spoken at a number of our annual Cheshire Ladies Lunch events, in Knutsford.

“ Dawn’s bought auction lots at these events, she’s funded wheelchairs and sponsored children with life threatening conditions on our fully supported holiday to Disney World, in Florida.

“The staggering sum of £500,000 that she and Ashley have raised has also helped the charity to provide hospital and in-home family support, therapies, and short break activity days for disabled children across the UK. Dawn and Ashley’s support has been simply amazing and we can’t thank them enough.”

Dawn said: “This year is the ninth year of the Crème de le Crème Ball and I’m thrilled to be raising money for Caudwell Children again. With this year’s theme being Best of British I’m certain that the event is going to be our best yet. Caudwell Children’s work is vital. They transform thousands of children’s lives every year. I really hope you can all join me for a fantastic night which really will change children’s lives.”

The event is attended by a host of famous faces from TV, sport and entertainment.

Tickets for the glitzy event are still available from £200, which includes drinks on arrival, three course meal, and a wine package.
