The Tatton Group, Knutsford is investing for growth with a new office just south of Manchester and three new appointments.

Annette McDonald joins as Deputy Managing Director after spending nine years with Reaseheath College as head of Commercial and Project Development, where she successfully secured significant capital funds to support the College’s growth strategy.  Joining her at Tatton Group are Janet Nuzum and Beth Chinn also from Reaseheath College.

Henry Brooks, founder and managing director, said: “This is a very exciting time for Tatton Group with our new Estates Office near Manchester Airport coinciding with the launch of another new business Tatton Tech, purveyor of ultrafast broadband.

“These changes will help our growing customer base and significant projects with possible grant funding, such as our Knutsford villages, 3D Print Facility (C3D) and Millington Hall Food Hubs and Feature Film & TV Studio in Altrincham.

“Recruiting a highly experienced team to support us at this pivotal time will help give us the structure and resource to progress our ambitious pipeline creating significant new jobs, homes and investment in the Northern Powerhouse.”

The new offices are based in Ashley village between Knutsford and Altrincham.

An experienced strategic lead of commercial innovation projects, Annette brings a wealth of experience from the private sector, including as a senior buyer for Marks & Spencer and Matalan. This was followed by 10 years as a senior management consultant working with blue chip and start-up companies developing and implementing business growth strategies.

Annette said: “Tatton Group is one of the most dynamic and innovative companies I have seen in the North West, with its ambitious plans for creative and innovative projects that will make a real positive difference to both the regional and national economic picture and the lives of the communities it touches. I am therefore thrilled to have this opportunity to help it deliver on its great promise.”

Janet Nuzumwill be joining Tatton Tech as Chief Operating Officer to help roll out Ultrafast Broadband, along with related technology solutions such as door and gate access solutions and VOIP telephone systems.

Janet arrives having spent 18 months at Reaseheath College as the principal lead for their influential Business Growth programme for small and medium enterprises in the region. Prior to this, Janet had a very successful 20-year career in the Army, serving as an officer in the Royal Military Police, retiring as Lieutenant Colonel, and has fulfilled a variety of appointments from strategic planning, change management to operational training and the implementation of talent management strategies. Janet has also led numerous new build and refurbishment construction schemes, working as a project consultant, before joining Reaseheath College.

Beth Chinn joins Tatton Group as a project manager after five years at Reaseheath College where she worked on implementing, tracking and reporting the College’s externally funded projects. The role with Tatton Group will see Beth initiating and supervising a wide range of activities, including externally funded projects such as Millington and C3D Print. With a background in the Arts, retail and customer service industries, Beth will bring a creative flair to all the projects she manages.

Helen Rogers, head of the Tatton Group office, said: “These appointments come at a very exciting time for Tatton Group with the Film and Locations business attracting more enquiries nationally and from around the globe; Stock Farm and our other venues generating more and more events; Tatton Stays welcoming increasing numbers of visitors from around the world; and Tatton Property moving into the delivery stage of our largest ever strategic projects to meet community needs.

“Tatton Group is an exciting place to work and is helping Cheshire receive the recognition it deserves as the most vibrant and successful economy in the North.”
