Expansion for Knutsford-based Intecho

By on October 2, 2018

A Knutsford-based technology and home automation company has expanded after capitalising on the Internet of Things (IoT) movement.

Intecho has enjoyed 30 per cent year-on-year growth and increased the size of its workforce, creating five engineering and project support posts.

Recently, it has secured work with high-profile hospitality venues including The Ivy, Sexy Fish Restaurant and Annabel’s night club.

Paul Murphy, director and co-founder of Intecho, said: “As the reality of smart homes and buildings becomes tangible, we’re seeing unprecedented demand from the hospitality sector as it too looks to deliver the intelligent and reactive environment consumers are increasingly expecting.

“Our new appointments will help to bolster our team enabling us to continue to drive forward our ambitious growth plans, as we aim to become the go-to supplier of highly sophisticated building systems both within the commercial and high-end residential markets.”

In addition to its London-based work, Intecho has completed projects with the Motel One chain, including two in Manchester and one in Glasgow.
