Bonfire and firework displays in Cheshire October and November 2018

Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service are urging people in the area to attend an organised community bonfire rather than host their own.
They say that most injuries throughout the bonfire period occur as a result of people building their own bonfires, and setting off their own fireworks.
They’ve also pulled together a list of some of the organised community bonfires and firework displays in Cheshire:
- Vine Tree Primary School Fireworks display – Saturday 20th October at Vine Tree Primary School, Danebank Avenue,Crewe, CW2 8AD. Gates open at 5pm
- Anderton Boat Lift Spectacular – Saturday 27th October at Lift Lane, Northwich, CW9 6FW. Gates open at 6:30pm.
- Nantwich Spooktacula – Saturday 27th October at Nantwich Show Ground, Nantwich, Cheshire. CW5 8LD. Gates open at 4pm, Fireworks at 8pm.
- Ince and Elton Bonfire and Fireworks display – Friday 2nd November – The event is hosted on the Elton Parish Field and it opens at 18:45. Bonfire is lit at around 19:00 with the firework display starting at approximately 19:30.
- Whitby Park Fireworks Display, Ellesmere Port – Friday 2nd November at Whitby Park, Stanney Lane, Ellesmere Port, CH65 9AQ. Gates open at 4:30pm
- Broomfields Junior School Fireworks Spectacular – Saturday 3rd November at Broomfields Junior School on Bridge Lane, Appleton. Gates open at 6pm, fireworks start at 7:30pm.
- Macclesfield Firework Festival – Saturday 3rd November at Macclesfield Cricket Club, Victoria Road, Macclesfield, SK10 3JE. Starts at 6.30pm
- Chester Racecourse Fireworks Display – Saturday 3rd November at Chester Racecourse, CH1 2LY. Gates open at 6:45pm
- Gulliver’s World Firework Bonanza, Warrington – Saturday 3rd November 3 at Gulliver’s World, Warrington, WA5 9YZ
- Thelwall Parish Council Bonfire and Fireworks – Saturday 3rd November at Thelwall Parish Hall, Bell Lane, Thelwall, WA4 2SX. Gates open 5pm, bonfire lit at 6pm, fireworks at 6:45pm.
- Pott Shrigley Bonfire and Fireworks display – Saturday 3rd November 2018 at Pott Shrigley Cricket Club, Shrigley Road, SK10 5RT. Bonfire lit at 6:30pm, fireworks at 7:30pm.
- Wilmslow Round Table Bonfire and Fireworks display – Saturday 3rd November at Carnival Field, Altrincham Road Wilmslow, SK9 5NG. Gates open at 5:30pm, Bonfire Lit 6:30pm, Children’s Fireworks Display 7.00, Main Fireworks Display 7.30pm.
- Crewe and Nantwich Lions Bonfire Extravaganza – Monday 5th November at Queen’s Park, Victoria Avenue, Crewe. Gates open at 5pm.
- The list will be updated in the run up to bonfire night.
