First Responders collections at Booths Knutsford

By on October 23, 2018

Local charity First Responders, who provide free CPR, Emergency Life Skills and First Aid courses, are looking for volunteers to help them raise money at Booths supermarket in Knutsford by supporting with bucket collections.

Chairman of First Responders, Sal Thompson said:  “We are one of Booths charities this year, and they have very generously given us four dates to do bucket collections all day in store,” said Sal, chairman of Knutsford Community First Responders Trust. This obviously means we need lots of help, hopefully from the general public, to do the collections, which are on October 26 and December 6, 15 and 23.”

Booths will be hosting a Christmas Book Launch with cookery demonstrations and tastings on 26th October, with a Christmas Extravaganza taking place on 6th December. Local choirs and groups have also be invited to sing carols in the supermarket on 15th and 23rd of December.

Friday, October 26 is Booths Christmas Book Launch, where it will be having cookery demonstrations and tastings.

Sal added: “We are seeking volunteers to hold collection buckets any groups who could spare some time and talent to come and sing.”

Volunteers are asked to call 07704 288779 to find out more.
