Remembrance event taking place in Knutsford tomorrow

To mark 100 years since the end of the First World War, there will be a Remembrance event held in Knutsford tomorrow.

A service will take place at St Cross Church at 8:45am followed by wreath laying and prayers at Cross Town war memorial at 9:20am.

A parade will assemble at Drury Lane at 10am before going to St John’s Church at 10:15am with the Remembrance Service taking place at St John’s from 10:45am.

There will then be a parade to the Centennial War Memorial with wreath laying and prayers, before heading back to Drury Lane at 12:20pm.

Wreath laying and prayers will take place at the War Memorial Cottage Hospital at 12.45pm, and at the Tatton Park Parachute Regiment Memorial at 1.45pm, followed by refreshments at the Knutsford Town Council offices at 2.30pm.
