Knutsford writer invites children to book launch

Ex-teacher and writer from Knutsford, Dee Griffiths, is launching her new book Leo’s Ladder. The book is also illustrated by a fellow Knutsfordian, Ali Holah.

The launch will take place on 12th November at the Lost and Found in Knutsford.

Since leaving teaching, Dee has worked on writing her children’s book and has a series planned. As a teacher, Dee was named Teacher of the Year for contributing to literacy through a Reading Recovery programme.

The book is aimed at children aged 3-8 and is set in Knutsford.

There will be readings taking place at 6:30pm and again at 7:30pm with signed books available to purchase on the night,

At the launch there will be a short reading of the story at 6.30pm and again at 7.30pm, and books, signed by Dee and Ali, will be available to purchase on the night.
