Police appeal for witnesses to fatal collision in Congleton

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on Sunday in Congleton.

At 2.44pm on Sunday 17 February police were called to Sandbach Road, Congleton, after a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, an 83-year-old man from Congleton, was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital and later died from his injuries.
