Knutsford Bunny Hop seeks alternatives to sweets
The committee organising Knutsford’s Bunny Hop this April are looking for options – other than sweets – to give out at the event.
The Events and Town Centre Management Committee was asked to consider contributing to sweets for businesses to hand out as part of the celebration. The committee have decided to review the options.
Cllr Power said a town retailer created chocolate-covered strawberries, which could be an alternative to sweets, although deputy town clerk Lisa Benskin pointed out the time involved needed to make them and that they were perishable products.
The event is taking place on 20 April 2019 from 10am to 4pm and includes all the main streets in Knutsford town centre: King Street, Princess Street, Regent Street and Minshull Street.
