Man arrested for drink driving in Knutsford

A 54 year old man from Cheadle has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
The arrest comes following reports of a collision this morning at the Silk Mill Street car part in Knutsford.
Officers were called to the scene at 4:45am after reports of damage to the wall, between The Rose and Crown car park and the Silk Mill Street car park.
In addition a telephone pole and two other vehicles were damaged in the collision, as well as the driver’s vehicle.
