Community awards take place this week in Knutsford

Community volunteers will be recognised at this weeks sixth annual Town Awards.

The awards recognise the contributions made to the community of Knutsford – this includes businesses, community organisations and individuals.

The Town Meeting and Town Awards take place at 7pm on Thursday 7th March 2019 in St John’s Church.

“These awards recognise the outstanding work many in our community do for the good of Knutsford, and just being shortlisted for an award is a great achievement in itself,” said Town Mayor Cllr Peter Coan.

The nominations were judged by a panel comprising Cllrs Coan, Andrew Malloy and James Power, with town clerk Adam Keppel-Green and award sponsor Ian Cass from the Forum of Private Business.

The awards shortlist is as follows:
