By on May 12, 2019

A charity event is being planned in support of dog charities including Manchester and Cheshre Dogs Home, IAPWA and the Dogstar Foundation.

The event will be taking place in The Courtroom at The Courthouse in Knutsford on 28th June 2019.

There will be live entertainment, a three-course dinner and drinks, a grand auction, red carpet and dance floor.

The auction will feature prizes including an an overnight stay in a Flat Cap Hotel and bed and breakfast at one of its Grade two listed venues. Other prizes include dog-friendly holidays, corporate football seats, pet portraits, a bespoke evening gown from Emma Beaumont worth £2,500 and vintage designer jewellery.

Ruben Pita, general manager at The Courthouse, said: “There is a real sense of grandeur about The Courthouse, so naturally it lends itself to being the ideal backdrop for The Twilight Bark Ball. We’re proud to be supporting worthy causes and look forward to hosting the event this summer.”

Sally-Anne Bedford, the co-organiser of the Ball said: “Our ball is for everyone who is passionate about dogs, no matter where the dog is in the world. Our nominated charities support dogs which need re-homing locally, as well as those suffering far away due to neglect and cruelty. This will be a night of celebration dedicated to all of our best friends. Everyone who attends will not only have a wonderful night out but will be helping dogs all over the world. If you love dogs then this is the ball for you.”

Sponsors of the event include The Courthouse, Duerrs, Cadman Screeding and Underfloor Heating Ltd, Awesome Creative and Emma Beaumont.

Tickets can be booked at eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-twilight-bark-ball-tickets-58086349836, and are £65 or £600 for a table of 10. The ticket includes a welcome reception drink on arrival, a three-course gala vegan dinner, coffee and free entry into a raffle to win a family or pet photographic portrait.
