Knutsford businesses that are involved in the town’s first ever fashion event have revealed some fantastic offers, competitions and giveaways, as well as an unmissable 20% discount across all participating stores.

Flash Fashion Knutsford, which was launched in February, is gathering momentum ahead of the big day on Saturday 18 May and now involves 15 retailers and as well as a number of complementary businesses. Led by Minshull Street menswear store, Oliver Wild, the event also includes Bare Necessities, Boutique D’Or, CarrotBananaPeach, Chalk 33, Cocoranti, Glamorous, Lloyd Hall BespokeTailors, Paris, Style Loft Boutique, The Edit, Verity Plum, Willow, Zapatos and new store, Phillip Armstrong.

Beauty salons, Roberta Redefined and Beauty with B, personal and corporate image consultant, Hannah Shaw, hair salon, Lockton’s of Knutsford and interior designer, Design Equals will be visiting various stores throughout the day and offering consultations, mini treatments and style advice.

Amongst the prizes up for grabs on the day are a beautiful Joseph Ribkoff dress from Willow and shoes from Lloyd Hall Bespoke Tailors. CarrotBananaPeach will be holding a special yoga class and giving away a free pair of bamboo socks with every purchase, while those who shop at The Edit on the day will receive a free goodie bag with each transaction, while stocks last. Ladies fashion store, Cocoranti will be giving away a free gift with purchases over £150, subject to availability. Elsewhere there will be fizz and cupcakes aplenty as retailers welcome shoppers to their stores.

On the day, there will also be a live catwalk show, featuring key pieces and seasonal looks from each of the stores. The show, which is free to attend, will take place on Regent Street at 1pm.

A map of the town, highlighting which stores are involved in the Flash Fashion Knutsford initiative, will be available from participating retailers in the run-up to the event.

As the event draws closer, Jane Smyth from Style Loft Boutique, who is having pop-up stalls from Hannah Shaw and Beauty with B on the day, said: “It’s great that we are all working together to create something special, which will showcase some fabulous fashions and hopefully bring some new visitors in to the town. I’m really looking forward to the event, which I hope will be the first of many.”
