Delamere Dairy’s Main Ring attractions brought a new dynamic to the Show with the daring International Cossack Trick Riders putting on an acrobatic display of true horsemanship, and the mighty Monster Trucks thrilling an audience of all ages.
The Roberts Bakery Food Live Theatre was a popular attraction which gathered crowds to witness culinary demonstrations by celebrity chef, Rosemary Shrager, Howard Middleton from the Great British Bake Off and Sean Wilson, cheese maker, chef and TV Star.
The Morrison’s sponsored Agri-Centre was themed around ‘Farm to Fork,’ educating the public about the provenance of the food on their plate. The public was able to try dairy delights and watch a mixture of farming presentations, including milking demonstrations, sheep shearing and bread making.
Rob Davenport, CIO Director of the Royal Cheshire County Show, commented: “Every year we’re proud to organise this highly anticipated event for the surrounding community to unite and celebrate the agricultural heritage of Cheshire.
The Cheshire Show is a credit to those who work incredibly hard every year to make this a staple event of Cheshire. Thank you to all who help to make the Show bigger and better each year – now we look forward to next year’s Show!”
