Gok Wan seeks Cheshire brides for new series

By on July 18, 2019

Gok Wan is seeking brides-to-be from Cheshire to take part in his new TLC bridal series.

Say Yes to the Dress Lancashire is returning for a second series after the first one proved to be a big success.

The show sees fashion guru Gok return to the Ava Rose Hamilton boutique in Colne to help a new line-up of Northern brides find their dream wedding dress.

And newly engaged brides from across the North West are being sought to let Gok help them find the perfect one for them.

The programme was initially a hit in America before switching to UK screens in 2016 fronted by Princess Diana’s wedding dress designer David Emmanuel

But the action moves to Ava Rose Hamilton for this series, which has branches in both Leeds and Lancashire.

Clare Laycock from TLC said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be teaming up again with Gok on this fantastic commission.

“Gok’s fantastic enthusiasm and ability to connect with others played an integral part in the show’s success and we look forward to the second series of the fabulously feel-good Say Yes to the Dress Lancashire on TLC.”

Filming for the new series takes place this summer and again in February 2020. Brides who are interested in applying to take part can email the team on brides@truenorth.tv.
