Thatched Gems Join Tatton Stays’ Collection

By on August 1, 2019

Two Grade II listed thatched cottages have become part of Tatton Stays burgeoning collection of properties to rent.

Denfield Cottage and Denfield Annexe in Millington, near Altrincham have joined a list of premium accommodation in Cheshire, London and Milan, all available for short and longer term visits.

Fully furnished to a very high standard with a range of utilities and services including a beautiful garden, the Denfield cottages on Millington Hall Lane are ideal for holiday makers, those moving or renovating homes in a ‘home away from home’ setting.

Beth Chinn-Webster, Head of Tatton Stays, said: “We have been providing short and medium term accommodation solutions for the past two years available for those near and far and interestingly, one of our biggest customer bases is the local population who struggle to find large enough (pet friendly) accommodation while they carry out home renovations.

“Denfield Cottage and Annexe are welcome additions to our growing portfolio and we are already housing a family from nearby.”

The attractive black and white timbered detached thatched cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside is an idyllic setting for any type of stay. Both properties have been lovingly furnished by the Tatton Group offering a new platform for business or leisure trips to areas of Rostherne, Knutsford, Altrincham and Hale, as well as Manchester and its leading attractions, football clubs and conference venues.

Denfield boasts a flexible living space incorporating a self-contained annexe which can be used with or without the main house. Flanked by beautiful landscaped gardens which enjoy a southerly open aspect over countryside, behind is a large ornamental pond,a soon-to-be-renovated hard tennis court and pony paddock in two acres – an ideal space for those looking to bring along their four-legged friends by separate agreement.

Retaining a wealth of exposed beams, interesting nooks and crannies and quirky low ceilings, Denfield is neutrally decorated throughout ready for Tatton Stays clients.

Investment in Denfield and other Tatton Stays projects has contributed towards 22 local jobs and has contracted more than 20 local businesses, supporting the area’s economy. With the area of Millington being somewhat isolated by the new A556, Tatton Group hopes that the new Denfield investment and upcoming Millington Hall Farm will help reinvigorate the area with jobs, facilities and amenities.
