A woman has won fresh flowers for a year in a competition held by Savills Knutsford and Ian Lloyd Events Limited.

The competition #SavillsGoesKnutsforFlowers was help to celebrate the RHS show at Tatton Park.

The prize won by Claire Shaughnessy from Urmston, is worth £600.

Claire was presented with her prize by Ian Lloyd of florist, Ian Lloyd Events Limited, members of the team at Savills Knutsford and Sandra Curties, Knutsford town centre manager.

Rebecca Postles, associate director in the residential sales team at Savills Knutsford, said: “The RHS Tatton Flower Show is a stand-out event in the local community, and we were delighted to get behind it by taking part in the floral walk this year. Our competition really seemed to capture the spirit of the show and the imaginations of the people of Knutsford, and we really enjoyed looking at each and every entry we received. We were so pleased with the response and would like to congratulate Claire on winning. As a new team to the area it’s been fantastic to have the opportunity to engage with the local community and other businesses in the area, and to thank them for helping us to settle in so well.”

To enter the competition residents were invited to take a photograph behind the office’s floral frame and share it on Instagram or Facebook alongside the hashtag, #SavillsGoesKnutsforFlowers.

The winner was then selected at random to win a £50 bouquet of flowers delivered to them for a year, with a total value of £600.
