The family of a 62-year-old man who died in a collision in Wilmslow have paid tribute to him.

Sabah Sadiq Tayfour, who lived in the town, was riding his motorbike on the A34 towards Manchester when the incident occurred shortly before 7.30pm on Friday 23 August.

He collided with the central reservation on the Pendleton Way section of the A34 and came off his bike.

Sabah sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.

The married dad-of-four was taken to the Manchester Royal Infirmary after being assessed at the scene by paramedics.

Sadly, despite the best efforts of everyone involved, he died at the hospital.

Sabah’s family are being supported by specialist officers and have issued the following tribute to him:

“Our father, Sabah Sadiq Tayfour, was a great man with a golden heart.

“He was considerate and cared about everyone and we are sure that everyone remembers him that way.

“He was well known in the local community and he will be truly missed by everyone.

“We are forever grateful to have had a father like him.

“We love you very much. You will forever be in our hearts.”
