Knutsford Photographic Society to stage welcome evening

By on August 31, 2019

Knutsford Photographic Society is holding a welcome evening on 3rd Sepember, and will be looking at images which made a major impact with judges during the group’s last season.

A group spokesman said: “This season we have a tremendous programme of speakers covering all aspects of photography, from shooting concerts to the more specialised drone photography. Landscape and wildlife photographers are also catered for with some outstanding presentations. We have a strong competitive heritage with monthly competitions for PDIs and prints, which are always very popular events. We compete with local clubs and host an international competition. We have an active group of enthusiasts who are always happy to share their views and experiences. During the summer break we saw the formation of a new sports photography section, and look forward to seeing some of their images during the coming months.

“If you are keen on photography then why not come along and join us on September 3. Feel free to come along and join us as we enter our 70th anniversary year. We meet every Tuesday from September 3 in Brook Street Chapel Hall on Adams Hill at 7.55pm.
