Poppy Tin Thefts: "A Despicable Crime"

Whilst in the building society he was believed to stolen a poppy appeal collection tin located on the counter. Their CCTV clearly shows the event taking place but the man in question provided details at the time that proved to bogus. At around 16:00 to 17:00 at a cafe on King Street, another collection tin was also stolen. Officers are currently in the process of identifying the suspect and ask if any witnesses can come forward in confidence.

Other police updates:

– There were no reports of any anti social behavior over halloween of bonfire night on and around The Moor area.
– On the 8th november A twentythree year old male was arrested on Princess Street and given and adult causion for assault and criminal damage.
