Birthday Parties at Tatton Park’s Home Farm
Betty the Berkshire is having a busy month. The 2 ½ year old sow at Tatton’s Home Farm farrowed her third litter of twelve piglets on Saturday 28th November. That’s quite a few more Christmas stockings to fill!
At least Betty knows she will have next year’s birthday party sorted – the dozen piglets will no doubt be squealing with delight at a Home Farm Birthday party. And your little ones can also join in the fun.
Ditch the magician and drop the clown this year and throw a birthday party for your child at Tatton’s Home Farm. We can create a very special experience for your child and their friends with a fun, hands-on and educational birthday party at Home Farm.
The party starts with a tractor and trailer ride down the Farm drive. From there you will be met by friendly Farm staff and introduced to the rest of the Farm animals, including any recent arrivals, such as Betty’s piglets.
Children will be able to feed the rare breed poultry and angora goats and meet any newborn chicks and piglets. The children can even compete to see who will be the champion piglet back-scratcher! Then we move on to the big characters. Groom Blue, one of the Farm’s beautiful ‘heavy horses’ and help collect one of our perfect pigs from the field and hose the mud off their trotters. The birthday child gets a few extra special experiences, such as the opportunity to name a new arrival.

It’s lovely for the staff to be able to share their passion for the care of our animals and for the children to make friends with our fabulous farm characters. All our party goers are guaranteed to go home tickled pink!”
Birthday Parties at Tatton’s Home Farm Price: only £7 per child. Parties are held from 11am to 2pm. This includes two hours of Farm fun, time for lunch and to play with the toy tractors and trailers in the Playbarn. Please note minimum numbers per party are 10 with a maximum of 20 children. Children have to be at least 6 years old.
