You’ll bear-ly believe your eyes this Easter!

Bring along your favourite bear and join in all the fun in the Gardens, Mansion, Farm and Stableyard.

Overseeing this beary special weekend is Lord Tedgerton (as pictured) and family, who will be taking part in fun teddy scenarios in the Mansion, including (keep this under your top hat) .. a teddy bear wedding!  Our younger visitors can take part in the Teddy Bear Quiz.

Adults and children can also gain a sneak preview of some of the specially commissioned artworks for Tatton Park Biennial 2010, which opens on 8 May.

Bring your favourite bear along to join in the fun in the Gardens.  Follow the honeypots to Barney the Honey Bear who’s hiding in the Garden.  Test your rhyming, jumping, shouting and observation skills with some of his fun challenges and he might even paws for photographs!

Adding to their usual family of cuddly characters, the Farm has invited Goldilocks down to the Stableyard.  Visitors young and old can join in Teddington’s Marmalade Trail and, of course, meet our new spring lambs, piglets and Easter chicks!

The Stableyard will be a hub of activity with Build-A-Bear Workshop arriving to show children how bears are made, make bunny ears and host fun parties throughout the day.  Their teddy bear mascots will be padding around so come say hello! Build-A-Bear workshop will also be helping to create the displays in the Mansion.

The Stableyard also hosts a Teddy Bear Hospital, so bring your teddy along for a free health check and to talk to the ‘doctor’ about his/her bear necessities! Poz, the Magician will also be dazzling us with his marvellous magic shows.  The Shops and Restaurant will all be joining in the fun with teddy bear and Easter themed merchandise and menu.  You can also join in the chance

To win a BIG Easter Egg (kindly donated by Slattery Patissier and Chocolatier Ltd of Whitefield, Manchester), by filling in a form in the Gift Shop.

Of course, April is a beautiful time of year at Tatton and if teddy bears are not quite your thing, the Parkland and stunning Spring Gardens are open for you to explore at your leisure and the beautiful collection is, of course, on display in the Mansion.  We also host an annual Easter Crafts and Country Shopping Fair in the Tenants’ Hall, featuring home décor and furnishing ideas, arts, crafts and gifts for the family.  The Fair is free to enter (Park Entry charge applies).
