Loch Fyne seafood restaurant in Knutsford will push the boat out this August Bank Holiday weekend, to celebrate the group’s 21st birthday.
On Friday evening, 26 August, staff will host a birthday party for locals and regulars, transforming the restaurant with balloons, bunting and live music from Emma Gilmour; bringing a real sense of celebration to the occasion.
The ‘coming of age’ party will continue throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, with staff hosting a kids’ fun day on Sunday.
The very first Loch Fyne restaurant was launched in Nottingham in 1990; although its roots are firmly in west coast of Scotland, where the business started as small roadside stall on the banks of Loch Fyne. Over the years the group, which now boasts 42 restaurants across the country, has maintained a fantastic reputation, making a name for itself with its consistently delicious, sustainably sourced fresh fish and seafood.
Fergal Dooley manager of the Knutsford restaurant said: “I’m really looking forward to welcoming all our customers but especially the regulars that have supported us so well over the years. I think it’s going to make for a great party atmosphere, so it will be well worth dropping in if you’re looking for something do over the weekend.”

“21 years of bringing our customers the very best sustainably sourced fish is definitely something to celebrate.”
The restaurant will also be running a charity fund raising raffle over the weekend, with wonderful prizes on offer, including Loch Fyne vouchers. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), for which the restaurant has been raising funds to build a new lifeboat. Loch Fyne guests will be able to choose from the a la carte menu or the birthday specials board, which will feature iconic Loch Fyne fish and seafood dishes from the last 21 years, including the ‘Best of Loch Fyne’, a shellfish feast packed with grilled oysters, queen scallops, steamed langoustines, mussels and razor clams or the delicious ‘Grilled King Scallops’ cooked in chilli and coriander.
