Adventure Farm Minibuses Get A Makeover!
Knutsford-based vehicle bodywork repair company, Revive! Manchester, offered its services free of charge to the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), to spruce up the Trust’s minibuses, by removing scuffs and scrapes and tidying up the paintwork.
Simon Homer, co-owner of Revive! Manchester said: “The Farm Trust does an amazing job and benefits children from right across the region. We are a small company but we wanted to do something to help so we offered to give their mini-buses a make-over.”
CAFT was conceived in 1985 by a small group of volunteers led by founding patron Tim Grundy. The charity offers free adventure breaks and activities to children who are disadvantaged by illness, disability and poverty, from all over the North West.
Paul Farrington, Chief Executive, CAFT said: “We were delighted to hear from Simon and very grateful for his offer. We run entirely from charitable donations so we wouldn’t normally have the funds for this kind of activity. It will be lovely for the children to be transported in newer looking, smartened up vehicles and better reflect the work we do here.”
Simon set up Revive! Manchester in 2004 and carries out vehicle bodywork repairs, also known as SMART repairs, on a mobile basis across Knutsford, Macclesfield, Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and surrounding areas. The typical kinds of repairs he does include bumper scuffs and panel scratches, as well as generally tidying up and protecting of paintwork.
SMART repair is a quality, cost effective and time-saving alternative to taking the vehicle to a body shop for minor paintwork repairs. Costing far less than most insurance policy excesses, the work is carried out at a time and place to suit the customer, minimising vehicle downtime and protecting the owner’s no claims bonus.
