By on June 1, 2012

THE Knutsford team at Gascoigne Halman turned into bakers today and raised £223.50 for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hosiptal Charity.

The company-wide Bakethon saw staff at Gascoigne Haman’s 18 offices baking cakes, cookies, muffins and selling them to prospective home buyers and sellers, or anyone passing by their offices.

Andrew Rogers from the Knutsford office said:

“It has been a great result today, the team have really enjoyed baking and decorating cakes. Hopefully they tasted as good as they looked! A big thank you to all the passers-by for their kind donations.”

Gascoigne Halman’s first ever Bakethon took place two years ago and raised over £2,000 for Christies.

The event is part of a year-long fundraising effort by staff at Gascoigne Halman with others including an Olympic Baton Challenge, skydive, a walk up Snowdon and Santa Dash.
