Knutsford Loves Fashion
On WEDNESDAY 9th OCTOBER 2013 Knutsford comes alive from 6pm to 10pm to celebrate local fashion and beauty.
The KNUTSFORD LOVES FASHION NIGHT is an evening to give the Knutsford Fashion and Beauty businesses a night to showcase their Autumn/Winter Collections and the fabulous treatments and services they all provide, whilst raising money for charity.
A fantastic combination of local shops, hair & beauty salons plus restaurants will be open and offering special experiences. Some will be giving promotions, providing drinks, delivering mini treatments or demonstrating the latest hair styles.
On the night, a fabulous fashion show will be compered by Peter Murray from Pulse of Perfumery at the Curzon Cinema and the Autumn/Winter Collections from a number of Knutsford’s retailers will be presented. Tickets for the show cost £5 with the aim of raising money for charity from both ticket sales and a prize draw. The chosen charities are British Heart Foundation, Marie Curie and Dress for Success. The current confirmed shops involved in the fashion show include Zapatos, Cocaranti, Willow, Glamorous, Bare Necessities, Boutique D’Or, The Pudding Club, Fat Face and Emma Beaumont.
Other confirmed businesses involved on the night so far include Gusto, Gareth West, Toni & Guy, Roberta, Golfino, Mr Simms, Broadbents, The Bath House, Paul Worpole, Heinkein, Terence Paul, Knutsford Bloom, MoZiMo.
Event organiser Lucy Willder from Cocaranti says: “The concept has stemmed from two greatly successful fashions shows held by us and Zapatos. This time we wanted to do something much bigger, involving more local businesses and also raise money for charity. We’ve had a great response from local businesses wanting to be part of the event. Every day we are contacted by another business asking if they can provide raffle prizes, content for goody bags, welcome drinks, be open on the night or be part of the fashion show in some way. We are really looking forward to it and hope it will be a night to remember.”
