MP supports local networking group
Local business networking group, BNI Mere welcomed Esther McVey, Member of Parliament for Tatton, to their business networking meeting last week.
Esther talked to the group about her experiences of networking along with the benefits it brings. She focused on the fact that people like to buy from people. She said ‘I’m a firm believer is supporting local businesses, businesses in the local area are key.”
The networking meetings take place weekly at High Legh Park Golf Club, Cheshire on Thursdays at 10.15am until midday. Currently 20 local businesses are part of the group which has passed over 2.1 million pounds of invoiced business since it was established 2012.
