Cheshire business School Style named as Ecommerce Business of the Year

By on December 8, 2017

Cheshire based local business School Style Ltd has been named as “Ecommerce Business of the Year” by the Federation of Small Businesses.

Managing Director, Anthony Lawson, collected the award at the 2017 annual awards ceremony run by The FSB Manchester and North Cheshire at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester and attended by Greater Manchester Mayor, Andy Burnham.

In deciding to award School Style with this accolade, the judging panel commented that they were impressed with company’s business model and use of technology.

Started in 2008 by parent and then school governor Mr Lawson, School Style provides schools across the UK with plain and embroidered school uniforms as well as school bags and other accessories.

Based in Middlewich and Winsford the business operates online through its website at myschoolstyle.com providing schools with their own branded online uniform shops with deliveries made direct to home. All order processing, embroidery and logistics is done in-house to ensure the greatest flexibility, fastest possible delivery and value for money.

Commenting on the award Mr Lawson said: “It is great award to receive recognition for the investment and hard work over the years. When we started out we were being quite disruptive in what was rather a traditional industry. However the market place has evolved quickly and now there is quite a bit of choice including big supermarket chains.”
