£500 available to promote healthy lifestyles in Cheshire East
Everybody Sport and Recreation has set up the Everybody Foundation, a new charity which helps to fund individuals and groups who promote active and healthy lifestyles in Cheshire East.
The Foundation has opened its first round of grant applications where up to £500 is available to successful applicants.
Organisations can be funded to deliver projects that encourage people to be active and healthy. It could be a one-off community event, to kick-start an activity programme or something completely different.
Individuals can be supported to be active regardless of whether that is trying to win an Olympic gold medal, develop the skills to help others to be active or to access their session of choice more regularly.
Funding can be used to pay for facility developments and the purchase of non-sporting equipment that helps the communities in which Everybody Sport and Recreation operates to be more active.
Applications close on 26th January 2018 so get your nomination forms in to be in with a chance of receiving up to £500!
Staff and members at Everybody Sport and Recreation have been fundraising over the past 12 months to raise vital funds for the charity to be able to award funding grants.
The latest fundraising event is the Mince Pie Bake Off and Christmas Jumper Day which is being held at Everybody facilities across Cheshire East on 15th December 2017. Visitors can purchase a selection of delicious Christmas treats, enter Christmas themed competitions to win prizes and sponsor Everybody staff and volunteers to wear their best (and worst) Christmas jumpers and fancy dress. All donations will go to the Everybody Foundation to help promote active and healthy lives in Cheshire East.
