Dave set to teach over 1000 people to cook!

By on November 29, 2010

Celebrity Chef and local resident Dave Mooney has been chosen to demonstrate to over 1000 residents of Greater Manchester how to use up left over food and create quick, healthy and nutritious meals for all the family.

Dave will be hosting the Love Food Hate Waste demonstrations in over 10 locations throughout the region and says

‘for over 30 years I worked in the award winning family business – but since leaving I have become less interested in flamboyant overpriced food and I am now more concerned with what really affects families on a day to day basis. Now more than ever when people are on a budget it is important not to waste food’

Dave’s passion for local produce was also demonstrated on the recent Market Kitchen Sky TV series where he was the resident ‘Cheshire Food Expert’ for three episodes. He also has represented Taste Cheshire and Made in Cheshire cooking up wonderful local produce at Cheshire Show, Nantwich Food and Drink Festival and more recently at Tatton Foodlovers Festival.
