Two high value horse boxes were stolen from Warrington Road, Mere, Knutsford between 17:30hrs on 11/05/2009 and 07:00hrs on 12/05/2009.

A Silver coloured Leyland DAF horse box with red coloured writing on the side saying "HOGARTH RACING" and "PARADIGM" on the side. A red coloured Renault livestock carrier with "HOGARTH RACING" and picture of a horse on the side.

I am requesting any information from the Equine community however small it may seem into this matter. It maybe that these vehicles have been parked in a lay-by, field or other remote location to see whether the vehicles are fitted with a "tracker device".

Knutsford Ruralwatch briefing for 7th May 2009:

On the evening of Wednesday 6th May 2009, a White coloured Volkswagen LT35 Panel van was sighted in suspicious circumstances by plain clothed officers, in a rural location on the outskirts of Knutsford acting suspiciously. One of the occupants in particular who was using the vehicle, I would describe as being of particular interest to the Knutsford Ruralwatch.

Mere Burglary Alert 27/04/2009
At approx. 4.45pm on Saturday 25th April 2009 - OFFENDER/S APPROACH DETACHED HOUSE, OFFENDER./S BELIEVE TO CLIMB ONTO ARCHWAY OVER GATE AND ALONG RIDGE ONTO BEDROOM BALCONY,  REAR PATIO DOORS ARE FORCED OPEN AND UNTIDY SEARCH IS MADE OF HOUSE.OFFENDER/S STEAL A QUANTITY OF WATCHES AND JEWELLERY. NOTHING ELSE APPEARED TAKEN.ALARM ACTIVATED FROM UPSTAIRS SENSORS OFFENDER/S RUN DOWN STAIRS THROUGH KITCHEN AND INTO SITTING ROOM WHERE THEY FORCE OPEN PATIO DOOR AND MAKE GOOD THERE ESCAPE THROUGH A HEDGE INTO NEXT DOORS PROPERTY. NOT KNOWN IF TRANSPORT USED.

This is the second Burglary that I am aware to have occurred in Mere during recent weeks.

There is no intelligence to suggest that these offences are linked but I am requesting extra vigilance and to report any suspicious activities to Cheshire Police 0845 458 000. Between 5.30pm on Saturday 18/04/2009 and 08:15am on Monday 20/04/2009 on Chester Road, Bucklow Hill -
OFFENDER APPROACHES UNOCCUPIED GARAGE PREMISES OVER THE WEEKEND PERIOD AND  GO ALONG THE FRONT OF THE FORECOURT AND RIP OFF AERIALS AND SCRATCH THE VEHICLE AND  THEN MAKE OFF AND GOOD ESCAPE. I am appealing for any information into this offence which occurred sometime over the weekend period, please contact Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 quoting CC09121023 with any relevant information.

Between 09.30hrs and 12noon on 15/04/2009 on Lymm Road, Little Bollington -
UNKNOWN OFFENDER/S DURING WEEKDAY DAYLIGHT HOURS APPROACH TU BUILDING THEY GAIN ACCESS TO THE BUILDING BY SMASHING A FIRST FLOOR SINGLE WINDOW ENABLING ENTRY BY OPENING SAME OFFENDER THEN WALKED TO FRONT DOOR AN FORCE USING BODILY FORCE CAUSING DAMAGE TO DEADLOCK OFFENDERS THEN REMOVE YORK STONE FLOORING APPROX 20 METRE SQ FROM GROUNDFLOOR, REMOVING VIA FRONT DOOR TO A YELLOW TRANSIT TYPE VAN VEHICLE OFFENDER.S THEN SECURE THE FRONT DOOR INTERNALLY USING THE BOLT MECHANISM BEFORE EXITING VIA ENTRY AND MAKING GOOD THERE ESCAPE IN THE DIRECTION OF LYMM - The Rural areas of Knutsford suffered from this type of incident approximately twelve months ago and  I am appealing for any information into this offence, please contact Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 quoting CC09121368 with any relevant information.
