Eight Gym-tastic stars!
Sunday 28th April saw a squad of 8 gymnasts from Gymfinity gymnastics of Knutsford travel to Penrith, Cumbria for the NLC Cumbria Gymnastics Open.
“All gymnasts gave fantastic performances, I’m really proud of them all” says Gymfinity head coach Ruth Chapman.
In the 8 and under category it was a clean sweep with Elsa Jackson in 3rd, Emma Routs in 2nd and Maya Ashcroft winning the title. Whilst Sophie Baldwin came 1st place taking the title in the 10 and under category.
This is another great result for the mereheath lane club and shows the commitment from the coaches and the squad is really beginning to pay off. The Club train 3 days a week at Egerton Youth Club and welcome new gymnasts, for details please contact Ruth Chapman on 07545 186 281.
