TEAM = Together Everyone Achieves More
With no fewer than 3 social events planned this month, there’s no better time to get involved at KRFC!
The 23rd January sees the annual “Apres Ski” night at Knutsford Sports Club. Social chairman Steve McGuiness said, “For only £12 you can be fed and entertained for the night by local band “The Kasualz. It’s the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in the rugby club to come and get involved in what should be a really fun evening, and will brighten up what can be a dull month”
On the 27th January the club have a evening at Egerton Youth Club planned which is seen as a key night for how the future of the club will look moving forward. Commenting on the evening, Robin Maxwell (press officer) said: “Following on from our prestigious award last year – the whole club seal of approval, the RFU are assisting us with a night where we look at all aspects of the club – the positives and negatives, and try to forge a plan around all of these for the future progress of this fantastic club. The key to this evening is a good attendance from our club members, and I would really encourage them all to make the effort to come along and have their say”
And finally, club treasurer Russ Finn has been working hard on preparing a fund raising day in association with the RNLI. This will happen on the 30th Jan after the 2nd XV home game vs Crewe and Nantwich. There will be bangers and mash available for everyone on the day (for a small donation), a raffle, a bar of course as well as what should be a cracking game of rugby!
Some, come on and get involved at KRFC and work off that Christmas excess. Training is on Monday’s at 8.00pm at Knutsford Leisure Centre and Thursday’s at 7.00pm at Egerton Youth Club (free hot meal after training on a Thursday).
