Junior championship goes to James after close contest.
In total 9 of the over 12 boys turned up for the Annual Junior Squash Championship held at Knutsford Sports Club, each player plays 8 games and the winner is the player with the most points at the end. Yet again it was a close fought contest with 3 boys winning the same number of points.
After a count back i.e. the least number of points lost. The eventual Champion for 2009 was James Branham, Runner Up Jack Paley. An award was also presented for the Most Improved player that went to William Smyth.
The Club hold 2 junior Squash sessions on Saturday mornings, 9.30 - 10.30 Beginners and 10.30 - 11.45 more experienced players. New members are always welcome, contact Neil Branham on 01565 631 030.
