Knutsford Town Council seek flower walk votes | Knutsford Times

Knutsford’s favourite floral display announced

By on July 22, 2017

To recognise the hard work and expense that local businesses undertake in creating beautiful flower displays throughout the town during the RHS Tatton Flower Show, Knutsford Town Council asked residents to vote for their favourite on social media or by phone.

The business with the most votes was Clare & Illingworth Opticians on King Street for their beautiful sunflower display created by Knutsfordbloom, who recently moved to new premises just of Knutsford High Street. The opticians commented that they were “very happy to hear the news today” and will receive a trophy and certificate from Knutsford Town Council in recognition of their floral glasses design.

Competition was fierce, with Town Clerk, Adam Keppel-Garner commenting: “The incredible efforts of our businesses over the past few years add something extra special to the Town for when RHS visits. They put on some fantastic displays and this year the public got to say thank you by voting for their favourite!”

The RHS Tatton Flower show continues this weekend at Tatton Park, visit for more information
